Scaryleen: Я думаю уже пришло время создать эту тему) Hana Pestle впервые выступила в Монтане в возрасте 14 лет, играя на акустической гитаре. В 2006, одна из DVD записей ее выступления попала в руки создателя группы Evanescence и автора песен, Ben Moody. На протяжении следующих 18 месяцев, Hana совмещала учебу в Billings West High School и Лос-Анджелес, где она работала с Ben Moody и продюсером Michael «Fish» Herring над созданием ее первого сольного альбома. Hana провела последние 7 месяцев 2008-го путешествуя по США с группами Live, Collective Soul, Blues Traveler, Joshua Radin, Graham Colton, Jon McLaughlin, Ingram Hill, Corey Smith. Rudik69: Сообщение фанатам от Ханы. Hello, hello everyone! I'm cuddled in a snuggie on a couch on a chilly Nashvillian day. Yes....i said snuggie. HAH! Anywayyyyyy, I have the day off to chill (and watch Eastbound and Down, WHUT WHUT) and I thought I'd stop by and let you all know what I've been up to for the last couple months. I feel guilty about how little information I've actually given you guys the past year and I'm here to fix that! I cannot believe that it’s already November 2010. It’s scary how fast time passes. This year has been so interesting. I’m under new management (The amazing Chad Jensen at Fitzgerald Hartley), which is UBER exciting. This summer I stepped foot into a college classroom for the first time. I’ve been doing a lot of co-writes with amazingly talented people, something I love to do - but also something that is majorly out of my comfort zone. I always go into a writing session a little scared and come out loving life. It’s just been a year of NEW. I’ve been focusing on writing new songs, which is why I haven’t had as many shows this year as the last two. The songs on “This Way” are my BABIES, but I’ve been singing them live for 3 years now. You and I need new material. I know this. I am a SLOW writer when I write alone. I have a few songs and there will be many more after this winter because I’m planning a getaway by myself where I can just WRITE and not be distracted by anything or anyone else (one of my main problems when writing alone). Right now I’m in Nashville and I really am falling in love with the city. The community of songwriters here is so welcoming and friendly. Ben and I have fallen in love with how driven everyone is here and how in love with music everyone is! The sessions I’ve had so far have given birth to some amazing songs that I CANNOT wait to share. Early next year, when I have a few more new songs, we’ll then shop them to some labels and see what happens. It can be discouraging to be an artist these days - the music industry is honestly in shambles. The key is innovation and keeping people excited. I know you guys need new music from me and I honestly need new music for me too....big things are in the works! You guys are so amazing to me I am so thankful that you have stuck by me for the last few years. i love you. xH
